Jalapeño Popper Dogs

Jalapeno popper dogs with a spicy AF Slim Jim center

I tried for a while to come up with a witty name for these dogs. Zebra dogs. Checkered dogs. I eventually just landed on jalapeño popper dogs since thats pretty much what they are. A little work goes a long way for these dogs. Tons of flavor packed in every bit. I obviously went with a jalapeño/dog blend but you could honestly use anything you can poke a fuckin hole in.

Ingredients include:
-Hot Dogs
-Jalapeños
-Cream Cheese
-Mayonnaise
-BAcon Bits
-Pimentos
-Slim Jims (Hot AF)
-Shredded Cheddar Blend

The first step is to slice and poke some holes in the hot dogs and jalapeons. For this, I used my kids Paw Patrol straw. It was the perfect size.

Next you’re going the thread the dogs & jalapeños over a Slim Jim. I even attached the ends for some chef-level shit.

Now, because I live in a small apartment and I don’t have a grill I just cooked them in a frying pan. I did end up hitting them with a little water to give them a bit of a steam.

While the dogs were cooking I made my cream cheese blend: cream cheese, mayonnaise, bacon bits, chopped pimentos & a shredded cheddar blend.

Spread the cream cheese blend on a potato roll and serve these bad bitches up!
